Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 17 - The union leader in Cambodia, representing tens of thousands of workers, requested Cambodian government to freeze the assets of the former Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP)'s leader, according to a statement issued by Youth Protect of Cambodian Workers Rights Confederation (YPCERC), which Fresh News received on Sunday.

They requested the government to freeze CNRP leader’s asset, bank account, properties transfer, and suspend visa.

The statement strongly condemns former CNRP leaders for requesting the European Union to close Cambodia’s market.
