Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 20 - Cambodia and Japan have decided to select images highlighted by the Cambodian and Japanese flags on a symbolic sign for the 65th anniversary of the two countries' relations.
The Embassy of Japan has recently launched a Logo Design Competition to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Japan-Cambodia diplomatic relations.
The logo for the 65th Anniversary of Cambodian-Japanese Relations was designed by a 15-year-old Cambodian living in Siem Reap and was recognized on Wednesday by Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia Hidehisa Horinouchi and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn.
"The logo has Cambodian and Japanese flags drawing on a beautiful fan. I hope that Japan-Cambodia friendship will grow like the drawing fan this year”, said Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia.
The "65th Anniversary of Japan-Cambodia Diplomatic Relations" will take place from January 1 to December 31, 2018. During this period, the Embassy of Japan, the Royal Government of Cambodia and other private sectors will organize many memorable events and hope to have the participation of many people to celebrate the anniversary.
