RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- The disapproval rating for Brazilian President Michel Temer has dropped 3 percentage points since September, according to a poll released on Wednesday.

The poll conducted by the Ibobe Institute shows that 74 percent of the interviewees consider Temer "bad" or "very bad", a slight improvement compared with 77 percent who said so three months ago.

The latest results are based on 2,000 interviews conducted on Dec. 7-10. The margin of error was 2 percentage points.

Temer, a former vice president who became president after his predecessor Dilma Rousseff was impeached, is now expected to complete his term on Dec. 31, 2018.
