Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 2 - During 2017, Cambodia had welcomed the visits of 10 head of states and governments. Most of the visit aim to cement diplomatic relation and gain mutual and fruitful interests by signing agreements.

President, Prime Minister and High Ranking Officials visited Cambodia include:

President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam led the delegates to Cambodia for four days, started from 8-11 January 2017 to sign two agreements.

President of Myanmar
Htin Kyaw and his wife accompanied by the delegates made a state visit to Cambodia for four days, started from 3-6 February 2017. During the visit, Htin Kyaw has made the appreciation on the development of economic and other sectors of Cambodia and asked for experiences from Prime Minister Hun Sen.

President of Lao Bounnhang Vorachith led the high ranking delegates to make a state visit in Cambodia for two days, started from 22-23 February 2017. The visit is to enhance relation between the two nations.

Prime Minister of Vietnam
Nguyen Xuan Phuc led the delegates to visit Cambodia for 3 days, started from 24-26 April 2017, following the invitation of Prime Minister Hun Sen.

World Economic Forum on ASEAN was celebrated for 2 days in Cambodia, started from 10-12 May 2017. The forum was attended by the president Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippine, Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith of Lao and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc of Vietnam.

General Secretary of Vietnam Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong made a visit to Cambodia for 3 days, started from 20-22 July 2017 in the purpose of enhancing friendly relation between Cambodia-Vietnam. During the visit, Cambodia-Vietnam has signed 5 Memorandum of Understandings.

Gen. Prayut Chan-ocha, prime minister of Thailand, made an official visit in Cambodia on September 7, 2017. During the visit, Cambodia-Thailand has signed 2 protocols. Prime Minister Hun Sen and Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has also launched the “Cambodia-Thai Friendly Park” which enhanced the relation between the two nations.

Prime Minister of Bangladesh
Sheikh Hasina led the high ranking delegates to visit Cambodia in the second time for 3 days, started from 3-5 December 2017. During the visit, Cambodia-Bangladesh have signed 11 documents.
