Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 11 - The Investigating Judge of the Phnom Penh Court,on Thursday, ordered the detention of a policeman for kicking a contracted traffic police in Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh on Tuesday.

The suspect was charged of two cases namely intentional violence and using the ID without proper authorization in accordance with the provisions of Article 218 and Article 61 of the Penal Code.

Regarding Article 218, the suspect faces two to five years imprisonment, an a fine from four million riel ($1,000) to ten million riel ($2,500).

According to Article 614, the supect could be jailed for a month to one year, with a fine of between 100,000 riel ($25) to 2 million riels ($500).

The perpetrator, Sao Panha, 33, was arrested after being charged with intentionally violent conduct in a leaked video clip on Facebook, while the victim, Oeun Chomnan, was hit in the chest.
