Phnom Penh (FN), Jan, 12 – Cambodia will construct a new airport on a 2,600 hectares plot of land in Takhmao city, Kandal province, according to the letter of Council of Ministers (CoM) dated on Friday.

The airport will be invested around $1,500 million, in which $1,100 million is the loan from foreign bank, and $280 million is the investment of Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) Company.

Pung Kheav Se, Chairman of OCIC and Chinese Company has signed a cooperation agreement on this investment in Cambodia on January 11, 2018.
