Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 2 – Senior Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will lead a delegation to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat (AMM Retreat) to be held on February 4-6, 2018 in the Republic of Singapore, at the invitation of His Excellency Dr. Vivan Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)’s press release.

As Chair of ASEAN in 2018, Singapore has chosen the theme "Resilient and Innovation", which reflects the strong and outward looking process in building the ASEAN community.

During the Retreat, the Foreign Ministers will take the opportunity to discuss priorities of Singapore's Chairmanship as well as to exchange views on key issues that could pose threats to peace, security and stability in Southeast Asia and to further strengthen cooperation with external partners.

The Cambodian MoFA expected that the outcomes of the AMM Retreat will further enhance ASEAN Community Building as well as identify future development for the region.
