Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 07 - The Supreme Court continued to sentence human rights activist Tep Vanny, charged of assaulting two security guards in Phnom Penh’s protest in 2013.

The decision was made after the inquiries on Wednesday morning.

Tep Vanny, 35, a land rights activist and human rights defender based in Cambodia was convicted and sentenced to two and a half years in prison by Phnom Penh Municipal Court, charged of “intentional violence with aggravating circumstances” on February 23, 2017.
