Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 14 - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia (MoFA) issued a press release on Wednesday regarding the outcome of a meeting between Senior Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Vu Quang Minh on Tuesday.
Minister of Foreign Affairs applauded the Ambassador’s active contributions in promoting friendship and comprehensive cooperation and the exchange visit of senior delegations of both countries over the past three years.
Vietnamese Ambassador expressed his great gratitude for the friendly relation and cooperation over the past 50 years. Cambodia-Vietnam relations enhanced in all sectors under the slogan “Good Neighbour, Traditional Friendship, Comprehensive and Long-term Cooperation”.
The Ambassador highly commended the active role of the Kingdom in regional and international forums.
He added that he is indeed privileged to fulfil his diplomatic mission in Cambodia and to boost comprehensive cooperation of both countries, such as participating in the launching ceremony to rehabilitate Phnom Dar Temple in Takeo province and the signing agreement ceremony between Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries and Vietnamese Cashew Company.
Both exchanged information on each country’s progress and further strengthened cooperation in bilateral, regional, and international framework.
