Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 16 – Cambodia National Rescue Movement (CNRM)’s leaders, including the illegal domestic and international affiliates, who operated illegally, are currently under the investigation following the recent Ministry of Interior (MoI)’s complaint.

The leaders of CNRM are identified as Sam Rainsy, President, Sokha Ly, Vice President, Ry Kea, Secretary, Oun Chhim, Sea Phirum, Sori Pon, and the affiliates include Tioulong Saumura, Ho Vann, Tob Van Chan and Nuth Rumduol.

“CNRM, created to incite the people and to rebel against the legitimate governmental in Cambodia, is considered as a rebellion act, which is contrary to the Penal Code of the Kingdom,” Ly read the case.

The CNRM was initiated by Sam Rainsy, Former President of CNRP, including other leaders of the dissolved party.

CNRM was officially announced on January 28, 2018 in Long Beach, United States.
