Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 25 - Four new factories have been licensed by Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to be established in Cambodia in early February 2018, with a capital of approximately $60 million, creating about 3,458 jobs, according to CDC's official Facebook post on Sunday.

BAMIN AGRICULTURE HI-TECH DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD: A project to establish the pesticide and fertilizer factory, located in Korng Pisey district, Kompong Speu province, has a capital of approximately $2 million and will create 566 jobs.

«S.C FOOD PRODUCTS CO., LTD: A project to produce snack and candy enterprise, located in Kandal Steoung district, Kandal province, has a capital of approximately $6 million and will create 114 jobs.

JS LEATHER COLLECTION PHNOM PENH CO., LTD: A project to establish shoes and shoe materials factory, located in Somrong Tong district, Kompong Speu province, has a capital of approximately $7.6 million and will create 1,575 jobs.

BAOFENG INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD: A project to establish rice milling and refinery factory, located in Santuk district, Kompong Thom province, has a capital of approximately $43 million and will create 1,203 jobs.

CDC has issued a certificate of registration for 11 new companies and factories in Cambodia in early February 2018, with a capital of over $130 million, creating many jobs for Cambodian people.
