Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 26 - Xiong Bo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Cambodia, said that Cambodia-China will further strengthen cooperation in health sector, especially military’s health of the two countries.

His statement was made when Minister of National Defense Tea Banh and Xiong Bo presided over the handing over ceremony of military aid provided by Chinese People's Liberation Army to Preah Ket Mealea Hospital.

"Today’s ceremony reflects the cooperation between the two parties, and a hope for future cooperation," said Xiong Bo.

“Under the leadership of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, Cambodian-Chinese specialist doctors will keep in mind about the mission and its task with the better usage of the medical equipment, and working in close cooperation with Cambodian medical team to provide perfect services to Cambodian army and the people”, added Xiong Bo.

Meanwhile, the Ambassador said that the framework of the friendly cooperation between the two countries and the people have continued to provide the best support to help Preah Ket Mealea Hospital to develop continuously and he believed that the capacity of the hospital will maintain steady development and provide better services to Cambodian troops and the people.
