KATHMANDU, March 12 (Xinhua) -- An aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines crash-landed at Nepal's Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday afternoon, officials confirmed.

Prem Nath Thakur, spokesperson of the TIA, told Xinhua,"The aircraft belonging to US-Bangla crashed inside TIA premise. Firefighters have already started work. We are finding out the details."

It has been learnt that the Bombardier Dash Q-400 aircraft crashed while landing. The TIA has been closed following the incident.

The conditions of the passengers are unknown while the details of the incident are yet to be ascertained.

US-Bangla Airlines is a privately owned Bangladeshi airline headquartered in Dhaka.
