Beijing (CGTN): The first session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) is holding a plenary meeting on Sunday in Beijing.

Nearly 3,000 lawmakers will hold a vote to decide on the next premier, vice chairpersons and members of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China.

They will also elect the president of the Supreme People's Court and the procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

The director of the National Supervisory Commission will also be elected at the meeting.
