Phnom Penh (FN), March 31 - At least 14 new factories have been licensed by Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to be established in Cambodia in March 2018, with a capital of approximately $246 million, creating over 14,000 jobs, according to CDC's official Facebook post on Saturday.
HELIOS GARMENT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD: A project to establish garment factory, located in Sangkat Steung Meanchey, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, has a capital of approximately $2.35 million and will create 859 jobs.
WTCPP MANAGEMENT CO., LTD: A project to build infrastructure, located in Sangkat Tuol Tumpoung II, Khan Chamkar Morn, Phnom Penh, has a capital of approximately $50 million and will create 419 jobs.
CHHUN HONG RUBBER BETTER CO., LTD: A project to establish agro-industrial rubber plantation and construction of a processing factory, located in Kampong Cham commune, Sambor district, Kratie Province, has a capital of approximately $24.89 million and will create 1,554 jobs.
V.C.O.F.F APPAREL CO., LTD: A project to establish the clothing factory, located in Por Sen Chey District, Phnom Penh, has a capital of approximately $5.7 million and will create 3,826 jobs.
Bai Hong Cambo Co., Ltd.: A project to establish a decorative lamp factory, located in Special Economic Zone in Svay Rieng Province, has a capital of approximately $2 million and will create 323 jobs.
Da Chao Shong Composites Technology Cambodia Co., Ltd: A project to establish bike and motorcycle parts factory located in Special Economic Zone in Svay Rieng Province, has a capital of approximately 2.3 million and will create 157 jobs.
WON FULL ENTERPRISE CO., LTD: A project to establish decorative lamp, plastic sticker, and other wrapping materials factory located in Special Economic Zone in Svay Rieng Province, has a capital of approximately 4.5 million and will create 343 jobs.
