Phnom Penh (FN), April 2 - Phnom Penh Municipal Court (PPMC)'s Prosecutor Sieng Sok ordered Sam Rainsy to appear at the court on May 07, 2018 to clarify the case of signing an agreement on April 14, 2013 to hand over four Cambodian provinces to Montagnard groups in Vietnam, according to Ly Sophanna, court's spokesman, on Monday.

Former opposition leader Sam Rainsy admitted on March 7, 2018 in an interview with the Phnom Penh Post that he had indeed signed an agreement with Kok Ksor, the Vietnamese leader of the Degar indigenous group in the United States in 2013.

Department of Anti-terrorism and Transnational Crime filed a lawsuit against Sam Rainsy on March 14, 2018.
