Phnom Penh (FN), April 5 - The Post issued a statement on Thursday evening following the court's decision earlier in the morning that ordered the Post to compensate $260,000 to Chris Dawe, former CEO of the Post, regarding the internal labor disputes.

"Post Media has been contesting an unfair dismissal case brought by former CEO Chris Dawe in the courts for the past two years. While a court had authorised the temporary enforcement of the judgment, officials on Thursday confirmed that enforcement would be delayed by 20 days.Though lower courts ruled in Dawe’s favour, an appeal is still before the Supreme Court," the Phnom Penh Post wrote in its statement.

"The Post will continue to be a law‐abiding member of the Cambodian business community, and will cooperate fully with any legal instructions, while continuingto contest through legal channels the meritless case against it," the statement added.
