Phnom Penh (FN), April 11 - Ministry of Justice decided on Wednesday to amnesty 8 convicts and reduce punishment for 42 convicts for the upcoming Khmer New Year, according to the ministry's spokesman Kim Santepheap.

Amnesty is normally executed during three majors festivals in Cambodia: Khmer New Year, Water Festival and Visakha Bochea (Buddhist Festival).
