Phnom Penh (FN), April 18 - Representatives of Cambodian Environmental and Wildlife Conservation Organization urged the Royal Government to take immediate and non-deliberate action against land encroachment in the area of Phnom Tnout, Preah Vihear province.

The sanctuary of Phnom Tnout is suffering from large-scale forest encroachment, with illegal logging and wildlife hunting, according to a joint press release by conservation society today.

According to the press release, without immediate intervention from relevant authorities to promote law compliance and the protection of natural heritage, natural resources can be damaged and lost in severe conditions.
