Svay Rieng (FN), May 9 – Addressing to over 28,000 workers from 26 factories and enterprises in Bavet on Wednesday, Prime Minister Hun Sen reaffirmed that the government will build more factories in provinces after building schools in the villages.

The premier also inaugurated the new Intervia Automobile Industry Complex Special Economic Zone, built on a 1.1 million square meter of land in Prey Phdau village, Sangkat Chrak Mtes, Krong Bavet, Svay Rieng, approximately 120km southeast of Phnom Penh.

“Building factories is a new agenda; previously, we built schools to ensure everyone have access to education; at least one primary and secondary schools in a commune, and many high schools in each district,” the premier stated.

Prime Minister stated that most products from Bavet are exported to Vietnam; it is convenient, economical, and timely. Currently, there are eight SEZs in Bavet and 11 in Svay Rieng.

Head of the Royal Government reminded workers that to get wages to support the families, first we maintain peace, order, and social stability; and that no war-torn countries could develop, only peaceful country prospers.
