Phnom Penh (FN), June 4 - Ministry of Information, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications jointly work together to manage media content, messages, photos, videos and/or other forms of social networking sites in accordance with the decree on the organization and conduct of the Ministry of Information and the Law on the Press, according to a joint statement issued on May 28, 2018.

The joint statement was made after a number of false information, disseminated on websites and social media, has affected security, order and ethics of Cambodia.

The three ministries will work to prevent contents that disrupt national security, relations, economy, public order, culture and traditions of Cambodia.
