Phnom Penh (FN), June 15 - The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) granted licenses for companies to build five factories in Cambodia, worth of approximately $301 million in total, creating 4945 jobs, according to the CDC’s report on Friday.

KAMPONG SPEU PLANTATION CO.,LTD.: a project to establish a sugarcane agro-industrial processing plant located in Kampong Speu Province, has a capital of approximately $85 million and can create 2,290 jobs.

SCHNEITEC ENERGY CO.,LTD.: a project to construct 115-km transmission line from Siem Reap to Oddar Meanchey with sub stations in Phnom Penh and Oddar Meanchey, has a capital of approximately $80.60 million and can create 413 jobs.

NAN HAI REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT CO.,LTD.: a project to establish 500-room Five Star Hotels and Business Center projects located in Sihanoukville, has a capital of approximately $86.56 million and can create 1,848 jobs.

HEIN LI PROPERTIES CO., LTD.: a project to build 149-room hotels and resorts located in Sihanoukville, has an investment of about $39 million and can create 241 jobs.

LYLY KAMEDA CO., LTD.: a project to establish a factory of instant noodle and snack factories located in Phnom Penh, has a capital of approximately $ 9 million and can create 153 jobs.
