Phnom Penh (FN), June 23 – Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC) announced on Thursday to set 1 July 2018 a deadline for all mobile operators in Cambodia to eliminate all the non-ID SIM card operations; otherwise, will face laws and regulations came into force without favorable conditions.

The announcement came after the telecom regulator has observed that some mobile phone companies are still operating a SIM card without identification documents, which is contrary to the laws and regulations.
