Phnom Penh (FN), June 24 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen wrote on Facebook on Sunday calling on all political parties and candidates to avoid cursing and using sarcasm towards one another as the campaign approached.

"All parties should respect one another and behave with morality and dignity," the premier wrote.

"Each party shall publicize their respective policies. Do not talk bad or harass other parties or any candidates,” he added.

The premier also urged the people to vote for Cambodian People's Party (CPP) to ensure peace and development.

He continued, "I promise to stay with my compatriots for at least 10 more years."

The July's election will be held on 29 July 2018. 20 political parties will participate in the 21 days of electoral campaign from 7-27 July 2018.
