Phnom Penh (FN), June 28 - Ministry of National Defense (MoND), on Thursday, issued a statement rejecting Human Rights Watch’s (HRW) report, entitled “Cambodia: Hun Sen’s Abusive Generals” dated 28 June, which accused the 12 Cambodian Armed Force leaders of violating human rights.

“MoND expressed deep regret for HRW’s report released on 28 June 2018, accusing 12 armed forces with baseless, unjust, and unreasonable grounds,” MoND wrote in the statement.

The ministry added that such fabricated report violated the sovereignty and independence of Cambodia, just to serve a group of foreigners and treacherous politicians who attempted to initiate a color revolution.

MoND has also called on HRW to immediately stop the such allegations to the leadership of Cambodia's armed forces.
