HONG KONG, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted 10 km WNW of Mataram, Indonesia, at 01:02:46 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.5376 degrees south latitude and 116.0367 degrees east longitude.
