BANGKOK, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Thai authorities on Wednesday expressed confidence in the latest downward trajectory of the COVID-19 cases curve, with 15 new cases and one fatality reported.

Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman of the government's Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), said the total COVID-19 cases in Thailand stood at 2,826 currently.

As of Wednesday, 425 are under treatment, 2,352 have recovered and been discharged.
