LONDON, Sep 29 (CGTN) - The UK is experiencing supply chain issues, rising energy bills and higher prices for goods amid a shortage of workers, all adding to the possibility that Britain’s recovery from the pandemic will be slower going over the holiday season.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson told the public Tuesday that the fuel-supply crisis was “stabilizing.” The UK government is authorizing more than 10,000 temporary visas to attract foreign drivers, and has put more than 150 military tanker drivers on standby for fuel deliveries if necessary.
