Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that the organization of the grade 12 National Examination 2020-2021 (Bacc II) shall resume normally as the kingdom’s quality of education has been declining.

Speaking at the launching of the vaccination campaign for children aged 5 held on Monday at the Peace Palace, the premier said the government is working hard to put in place various mechanisms to reopen schools so that students can study and prepare for the examination.

Samdech also suggested a postponement of the exam to an appropriate time.

On December 2020, Ministry of Education announced Cambodian grade 9 and 12 students will pass the National Examination 2019-2020 (Bacc II) automatically without taking exam and grading.

Cambodia announced full reopening of the country from 1 November 2021.

“From today onward, the country is fully reopened in all sectors,” said the premier.
