Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 15 – In order to increase number of electric vehicles usage and enhancing the use of clean energy in Cambodia, ONiON Mobility Co., LTD, and PTT (Cambodia) LTD have signed the MoU agreement on 14 June 2022 at PTT Prek Pnov Station with the presided by Kay Woo, founder and CEO of ONiON Mobility and Nuttapong Kaewtrakulpong, managing director of PTT Cambodia; partners of both companies; staffs; national and international journalists for the official opening of ONiON Mobility battery swapping stations in two main locations in PTT Stations along with National Road Number 1 and National Road Number 5, while continuing to expand more stations step by step according to the company’s plan.

This is a witness and a key step forward to a green footprint with no pollution on the road which has paved the way for huge support as well as an increase in more electric vehicles usage day by day, and to boost thousands of vehicles production as determined plans.

With the overwhelming support from TADA drivers and electric three-wheeler riders on the TADA ride-hailing app, recently ONiON Mobility also runs another service center at PTT Station location in Sen Sok district and this partnership will offer more benefit to drivers and riders after the MoU signing ceremony.

During the ceremony, Kay Woo, founder and CEO of ONiON Mobility, has mentioned that: “ONiON T1 is designed for daily interaction with drivers. Because of it, this collaboration is very important for ONiON to support drivers and local society. And I believe that PTT and ONiON Mobility can work together more to help Cambodia adapt electric vehicles easier and faster”

Recently, since the launch of a new function of ONiONT1 on the app, it has gathered overwhelming support from local and foreign riders who are environment lovers in Cambodia.
