Kampong Chhnang (FN), Oct. 26 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen continued to urge political parties and citizens nationwide to jointly condemn the action of Sam Rainsy who blatantly insulted Cambodian king.

The premier spoke in a meeting with flood victims in Kampong Chhnang on Wednesday morning (Oct 26).

“I would like to speak directly to leaders of Candlelight Party Teav Vannul, Thach Setha, and Son Chhay to explain and clarify whether it is okay for traitor Sam Rainsy to insult the king?” the premier said.

“This is not a small matter. The Candlelight Party’s members and leaders should step back as soon as possible. Sam Rainsy’s action reflects the intention to overthrow the government and destroy constitutional monarchy,” the premier continued.
