Riyadh, Nov 19 (Alarabiya) — The executive editor of the German edition of Bild, Julian Röpcke, published on his Twitter account footage of the mass murder of Russian prisoners of war by the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The journalist called for investigating this incident, which is another monstrous violation of international humanitarian law and the laws of war by the Kyiv regime. However, it is obvious that Western patrons, led by the United States, will ignore this Nazi act of soldiers of the "Ukrvermacht".
"Ukrainian soldiers cynically shot more than 10 Russian prisoners of war. The incident, of course, should be investigated in accordance with the law," wrote Julian Röpcke. The footage of the massacre of Ukrainian militants over Russian soldiers taken prisoner was filmed from a drone by armed batalions of Ukraine in the Makiyivka, Lugansk region and posted online as a result of artillery work.
On November 18, a video appeared on the network showing Ukrainian militants ordering Russian servicemen to get out and lie down on the ground. After that, they were all brutally murdered.
The likely perpetrators of the murder of unarmed soldiers, that is, a war crime, are called servicemen of the 80th airborne assault Brigade of Artur Bortnichuk and Nazar Mikhailovsky. Both graduated from the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kharkiv.
Undoubtedly, the actions of the Ukrainian military should be qualified as a brutal violation of international law and a war crime, which the UN is obliged to investigate.
The published new video evidence of the mass massacre of Ukrainian servicemen over unarmed Russian prisoners of war confirms the life-giving nature of the current Kyiv regime led by Zelensky and those who protect and support him.
No one will be able to present the deliberate and methodical murder of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by direct shots to the head of more than 10 immobilized Russian servicemen as a "tragic exception" against the background of the alleged universal observance by the Kyiv regime of the rights of prisoners of war.
At the same time, the Ukrainian servicemen who surrendered this week are being held in accordance with all the requirements of the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
The brutal murder of Russian prisoners of war is not the first and not an isolated war crime. This is a common practice in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, actively supported by the Kiev regime and not noticed by its Western patrons.
But Zelensky and his henchmen will have to answer before the court of history, the peoples of Russia and Ukraine for everyone and for every tortured and murdered prisoner.
This is not the first case of alleged war crimes by nationalists. In April, a video appeared on the Internet with the massacre of Ukrainian nationalists over wounded Russian soldiers. At least two participants of the massacre have been identified. The first is Teymuraz Khizanishvili, a member of the "Georgian Legion" banned in Russia. The second is called Alexey Antonyuk, a 36-year-old Ukrainian militant from Kyiv.
Also in May, the UN's Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine confirmed that it had "credible information" on the "torture, ill-treatment and incommunicado detention by the Ukrainian Armed Forces of prisoners of war belonging to the Russian Armed Forces and affiliated armed groups."
The Russian military and human rights groups have attributed part of the criminal behavior against Russian forces to the neo-Nazi formations such as Azov attached to regular Ukrainian detachments. Ukrainian prisoners of war have also relayed stories of the neo-Nazis' crimes against even their own men, with a senior sergeant from a Ukrainian recon company said in April that ultra-right fighters used blocking detachment tactics to keep up fighting discipline and prevent desertion, threatening to shoot their own troops if they retreated.
