Kuala Lumpur (FN), Feb. 28 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed and fully supported the three projects proposed by the president of National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia.

These three projects were proposed during the Cambodia-Malaysia Business Forum organized by the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia on 27 February 2024.

On that occasion, Samdech Thipadei briefed the investment potential in Cambodia, especially the factors of peace, political stability, macroeconomic stability and favourable investment laws, as well as policies to support and incentive.

According to the statement of the spokesperson of the Royal Government of Cambodia, the president of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia proposed three initiatives for Cambodia, including the Cambodia-Malaysia Special Economic Zone project for high-tech industry, Technology Skills Development project, and Halal Food Industry project.

“Samdech Thipadei welcomed and fully supported these three projects, urging stakeholders to jointly work to prepare these projects as soon as possible by 2024,” the statement added.
