Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 12 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen called on stable price for accommodations at the kingdom’s coastal region during Sea Festival 2018 and New Year 2019, addressing to nearly 18,000 workers from 23 factories in Kompong Speu province.

The premier also explained law on supply and demand. When the demand is low and supply is high, the price is low, whereas when the demand is high and supply is low, the price is high. He sets New York as an example, stating that during the UN’s General Assembly, prices of hotels increase by 100-120%.

It is worth noting that the 7th Sea Festival 2018 will be held in Koh Kong province from 14-16 December, presided over by the premier and his wife.

Cambodian tourism minister Thong Khon hopes that the three-day Sea Festival will attract approximately 300,000 national and international tourists.
