Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 12 – Former opposition leader in exile Sam Rainsy recently accused the Phnom Penh Post “biased” to which it is not worth responding.

“The current @phnompenhpost is so biased that it is not worth responding to. Read the international press for more objective coverage of #Cambodia,” Rainsy tweeted.

The Post’s Chief Executive Officer Ly Tayseng stated that, “my media is neutral and independent based on professional journalism. We published news we received from all relevant parties.”

The Phnom Penh Post, Cambodia's oldest independent newspaper, also replied to Rainsy’s tweet, “Please kindly and objectively point out what makes you say so. We always give you floor in the utmost professional manner and expect the same courtesy in return.”
