Phnom Penh (FN), April 01 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that he will not tolerate former opposition leader in exile Sam Rainsy for insulting his wife and his son, addressing at the graduation ceremony of Vanda Institute on Monday.

The former opposition led by Sam Rainsy continuously stated Prime Minister’s wife Bun Rany was the wife of Vietnamese Revolutionary Leader Lê Đức Thọ. They also fabricated that Hun Manet, the eldest son of the Premier, is the son of Bun Rany and Lê Đức Thọ.

With pains and sorrow, Prime Minister Hun Sen once again slammed leaders and members of the opposition party for fabricating such an insulting story.

“I can not tolerate the “dogs” who insulted my wife and my son,” the Premier stated saying “I will obstruct you [Sam Rainsy] like Pol Pot.”

“A Pot was strong but still beaten by Hun Sen,” he warned.

Prime Minister used to ask former UN’s Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and other world leaders whether the accusation is the exercise of the right of expression or defamation?

“I would like to send the message out to the UN Secretary General, to all the world leaders and Embassy representatives that if someone accused your spouse of being a sex-worker, and that your child is not yours, do you consider it as the exercise of freedom of expression or defamation with felony? I will not tolerate it; I strongly insist it is a criminal act,” the Strongman addressed in the graduation ceremony of students of Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2016.
