Phnom Penh (FN), May 28 - Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Prak Sokhonn, will make an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, from 30 May to 01 June 2019, at the invitation of Wang Yi, State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, according to foreign affairs ministry's press release dated Wednesday.
The visit is aimed to further strengthen and expand cooperation and friendly ties between Cambodia and China.
During this visit, Minister Prak Sokhonn will pay a courtesy call on Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
The Minister will meet State Councilor Wang Yi for an in-depth discussion on ways and means to promote collaboration between the foreign ministries of the two countries and other areas of cooperation. He will also exchange views with his Chinese counterpart on regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
