Tokyo, Japan (FN), May 30 – Japan's Minebea Mitsumi Inc., an electronic manufacturer in Cambodia, has announced to donate 5,000 automatic light bulbs on the streets of Phnom Penh and 2,000 in Siem Reap.
The announcement was made by Yoshihisa Kainuma, President and CEO of Minebea Mitsumi Inc., during a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, on 30 May 2019 in Tokyo.
According to Kao Kim Hourn, delegate minister attached to Prime Minister, the light bulbs are the company's appreciation to the Royal Government of Cambodia for providing enabling investment climate to the company to successfully invest and operate in Cambodia.
Minebea Mitsumi Inc. has also contributed to the development of human resources and football in Cambodia; and is looking forward to expand its investment.
In response, Prime Minister Hun Sen thanked Minebea Mitsumi Inc. for contributing to the development of Cambodia. He requested the company to equip light bulbs in other provinces.
