Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 9 - Cambodia-Thailand trade volume has reached USD 4 billion in the first semester of 2019, according to a report from Thai Business Council in Cambodia on Friday.

From January to June 2019, Cambodia-Thailand trade volume was USD 4,154 million, an increase of 7% compared to the same period in 2018, which was USD 3,875 million.

Cambodia exported USD 685 million to Thailand, an increase of 52 percent from USD 450 in 2018.

Cambodia imported USD 3,646 million from Thailand, up 1 percent from USD 3,425 million in 2018.

Cambodia and Thailand have a strong business network. Most of Cambodian products exported to Thailand include maize, cassava, soybeans, while Thailand's exports to Cambodia include machinery, electronics, fuel, construction materials, foodstuffs, cosmetics and home appliances.
