Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 19 - Prime Minister Hun Sen and Nguyễn Văn Nên, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam's Central Committee pledged to further expand trade volume between the two countries and to resolve the current border issues.

The commitment was made during a meeting between the two leaders on Monday at the Peace Palace.

Nguyễn Văn Nên was pleased to see the progress of Cambodia, especially over the last few years.

He added that Vietnam continues to strengthen relations ties based on the spirit of peace, stability and development of the borders of the two countries.

Prime Minister underlined that Vietnam-Cambodia good relations have contributed to all-sector growth, not just diplomacy.

Prime Minister and the Party Secretary also exchanged situation in Cambodia and Vietnam as well as Cambodia's process on internal and future reforms.
