Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 23 - Cambodia Angkor Air will establish its first direct flight from Phnom Penh to Da Nang in October 2019, Minister Thong Khon confirmed Thursday when receiving a courtesy call from the CEO of Cambodia Angkor Air, Hoang Manh Tuan.

Tourism Minister urged the company to improve the quality of service, as Cambodia Angkor Air is the national flag carrier airline of Cambodia with its corporate headquarter and main hub in Phnom Penh.

He also asked the company to consider promoting direct flights from Cambodia to China's main tourist destinations.

Currently, Cambodia Angkor Air has direct flights from Siem Reap – Danang; Phnom Penh – Siem Reap; Phnom Penh – Ho Chi Minh; Phnom Penh – Sihanoukville; Sihanoukville – Beijing; and Sihanoukville – Siem Reap.
