Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 16 – Cambodian police has detained three among the six former CNRP activists, allegedly charged with conspiring and inciting for social insecurity, according to separate warrants, issued on 14 September 2019 by investigating judge Koy Sao.

Spokesperson of National Police Commissariat Chhay Kim Khoeun told Fresh News that Yat Phearum, Tum Bunthorn, You Chantheany are among the three arrested and are detained at Prey Sar prison.

He added that two were caught in Phnom Penh, one in Banteay Meanchey. The other three being chased are in Kandal province.

The six former activists include Yat Phearum, Tum Bunthorn, You Chantheany, Ly Mengkheang, Ly Lin, and Chhun Thaiyuth.
