South Korea (FN), Feb. 3 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen stated that the good relations between Cambodia and South Korea has helped boost trade volume between the two countries, speaking at a gathering with Cambodians in South Korea on 3 February 2020.

According to the premier, Cambodia-South Korea trade volume has reached USD 1 billion, of which USD 335 million Cambodia exported to Korea and USD 696 million imported from Korea.

“The trade volume between Cambodia and South Korea has been increasing steadily thanks to the good diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Korea,” he said.

The premier also expressed satisfactions that Cambodia exports mangoes to South Korea, starting from January 2020.

“Cambodian mangoes are as good as those of other Asian mangoes, so the exports to Korea promote Cambodian crop cultivation and we are looking for more export opportunities," the premier added.
