Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 6 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and his delegations landed Phnom Penh safe at 1:50 a.m on 6 February 2020 after successfully concluding working visits to South Korea and China.
While in Korea, the premier was warmly welcomed by many Cambodian supporters living and studying in South Korea.
He met with President of the ROK H.E. Moon Jae-in to discuss bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international issues of common interests. Besides, he attended a luncheon hosted by Prime Minister of the ROK H.E. Chung Sye-kyun.
The premier delivered a keynote address on the Summit’s theme "Peace, Security and Human Development”, along with other foreign dignitaries attending the UPF World Summit 2020.
He also met with members of the Cambodian community, students and workers who are residing and working in the ROK.
While in China, Premier Hun Sen had a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang to discuss bilateral cooperation in various fields and exchange views on existing coronavirus epidemic as well as issues of common interest; and paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China.
