Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 10 – Cambodia’s Health Ministry on Tuesday reported Covid-19 positive on a 65-year-old British woman.

According to the press release, the woman arrived in Cambodia on 7 March from Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh on a river cruise.

The woman is being quarantined in a separate room and that the other four tourists who had close contacts with her, tested negative, are also quarantined.

The British woman is the third case of Covid-19 in Cambodia. The first one was found on a 60-year-old Chinese man on 27 January when he flew from Wuhan to Sihanoukville. However, he recovered and returned home.

The second case was found on 7 March on a 38-year-old Cambodian man in Siem Reap believed to be transmitted from the Japanese businessman.
