Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 24 – Minister of the Interior Sar Kheng, on Tuesday warned of village lockdown to fight Covid-19, speaking in a meeting with immigration police officers at the Phnom Penh International Airport on Tuesday.
“If the household has one person infected, we quarantine all the members of the household. If several villagers got infected, we may lockdown the whole village,” said Sar Kheng.
As of March 24, Cambodia has reported 87 cases of Covid-19, including 22 women and 65 men. Among those, 35 are Cambodians and 52 are foreigners.
