Phnom Penh (FN) , Apr. 25 – Cambodia’s Health Ministry Spokesperson Or Vandine, on Saturday, warned of a new wave of Covid-19 in Cambodia if people are negligent.

“People start to reopen their business, but strong vigilance must be carefully followed,” said Or Vandine

"Covid-19 situation in Cambodia is “fragile” although no new cases reported while more patients have recovered. Subsequent recoveries does not mean the Kingdom is safe from Covid-19,” the spokesperson warned.

Vandine has continuously appealed to citizens nationwide to follow the guidance set out by the Ministry of Health and the Royal Government’s decisions.

As of 25 April 2020, the Kingdom has confirmed 122 cases in total; 117 have recovered.
