Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 27 –  The United States, through USAID, has donated aids worth of USD 3.5 million to Cambodia to fight against Covid-19.

The handover ceremony was held at the Ministry of Health, presided over by the Minister of Health Mam Bunheng and US Ambassador to Cambodia W. Patrick Murphy.

The ambassador said he was pleased to be part of Cambodia’s team in fighting against Covid-19.

"Congratulations to Cambodia on her success. We continue to work together. We admire Cambodian people for their contributions to combatting Covid-19 by not going to the provinces during Khmer New Year; practicing social distancing; and following the instructions issued by the authority,” said the ambassador.
