Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 11 – Cambodian Health Minister Mam Bunheng announced on 10 June 2020 to set up private banking system at the airports to facilitate foreigners in depositing a testing and quarantine fees of USD 3,000 as required by the Cambodian government.

Phnom Penh Municipality in cooperation with the Department of Immigration, the General Department of Customs, the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation and Phnom Penh International Airport, will continue to be active in preventing the spread of the disease.

It worth noting that all foreign nationals entering the Kingdom of Cambodia are required to possess Health Certificate indicating a COVID-19 negative status, issued by competent health authorities of their residing country no more than 72 hours. Moreover, foreign nationals must provide proof of Health Insurance Documents with a minimum medical coverage of not less than USD 50,000 during their intended stay in Cambodia, and must strictly comply with other additional measures as determined by the Royal Government of Cambodia.

According to the travel restriction measures, these requirements for Health Certificate and Health Insurance Documents are wired for any officials of foreign missions and international organizations holding Cambodian diplomatic visa (Visa A) or official visa (Visa B).
