Banteay Meanchey (FN), Oct. 22 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen claimed that some politicians never expressed condolences to flood victims, speaking Thursday during his visit to Banteay Meanchey’s Thmar Puok district and Poipet city.

"Cambodian People's Party (CPP) always stays with the people both during easy and difficult time. However, some politicians stay only at happy time and run away when people are in emergencies," said Prime Minister Hun Sen.

He continued that the CPP has been with people for over 30 years since the Kingdom’s liberation from Pol Pot and we continue to stay.

Premier Hun Sen said “when people are in emergency, CPP officials are always present. For myself, I never intended to leave people when they are in hardship.”

He underlined that “when people face difficulties, Hun Sen always runs to the people first; Hun Sen never waits for people to run for his help.”
